New Export Controls

For the April release we are introducing new export controls and an export preview feature for Aligned Tree and Beta Tree slides in PowerPoint.

✅ New Features & Enhancements:

1. Maximum cards– Splits large teams into multiple slides, avoiding excessively small cards with illegible text.
2. Maximum Levels – Ensures hierarchical clarity by limiting the number of levels per slide.
3. Minimum Cards – Excludes slides with fewer than a specified number of nodes, preventing single-card slides that users find unhelpful.
4. Font Size – Allows users to specify the font size for summary card titles. Orgvue will automatically split the tree accordingly.
5. Export Preview – Lets users preview and adjust the export layout before downloading, minimizing unexpected formatting issues.
6. Card Links – Adds clickable links between parent and child summary cards for easier navigation through the organization’s hierarchy.
7. Breadcrumbs – Displays the hierarchy as text to provide a clear path for each node and context when teams are split across slides.

In addition to the new tree slide export controls this release also sees the arrival of an updated Export Interface

The interface will now use a more intuitive pop-over drawer for all export formats and slide types, except for Talent Planning cards and other custom cards, which will remain on the current export modal for affected customers.
